Directly from the Heart of a Mother !

Hello All,

Now finally, the time has come for me to make a comeback to blogging after 7 months,  sometimes it is a ton of work and you just need to take a break from doing something which you really love.. we ought to prioritize things.

As you all know, being a mother is perhaps the hardest and most rewarding job a woman will ever experience, just like the fellow mothers, I'm busy with enjoying the motherhood to the fullest, keeping my hobbies and other interests in back seat..
Even if I concentrate on my work, a corner of my mind keeps thinking about my daughter. When there are so many things running around in your mind, you will be running here and there and suddenly her call,"Amma", makes me forget everything, including the important works to be done too :)..

When you reach home and you know she is waiting for you, and watch her eyes glow on seeing you, makes you the happiest person in the world!
Cuddling her, listening to her stories, making her sleep, falling asleep with her etc,,make me feel like Life can not get any better!

Time flies like anything, soon she becomes "big kid", and I just don't want to feel guilty in future for what I have missed..I have realized that my canvas can wait for me but my daughter can't,, realized that no one's life is perfect and that cannot be so, live every moment fully and understand that there is a reason for every struggle you go through, trust me  that makes you better each day.

I think its enough of justification for my break now ;)

So coming to my work, Here I'm sharing one of my old paintings, "The tiger"..exhibited in our last group show at Venkatappa art gallery..

                               Subject: The tiger
                               Medium: Acrylic on canvas
