Hi, here is a work which I have done 4 years ago. Since I couldn't do any painting last moth, posting an old work today and most importantly don't wanted to skip blogging this month as well..

Precious Love ...

Here is my latest work, using oil colors on canvas. I've got the reference while surfing the web and painted this on a canvas of size 18 X 18 inches.

Feeding the little ones !!.. I used to find these images very cute earlier, but now I have realized that it is not only cute but also a very challenging task. It seems these chicks are not fussy eaters, unlike my daughter :)

 Sometimes my little one eats as if she has not seen food for days, the very next day she barely eats. I have no clue from where she does get all the energy even when after eating so less, surprised what is fuelling her !

 A mother can go to any extent when it comes to feeding her kid. A Mother is an unrelenting source of Love and her Love is always precious.

    No need to say explicitly that motherhood keeps a woman busy...experiencing that to the fullest now !! I get very little time to spend on my interest, hardly few hours in a month !!  Here are couple of recent acrylic works, you can imagine how much time I've spent on each of them based on the quality ... All credit goes to my daughter ;)

White Lotus

A big 'Hi' to everyone ... nice to be writing here after 8 months .. time flies with baby at home ... I should thank Abhijna - my daughter, for allowing me to spend some time with colors !!

I have tried oil on canvas, anticipating a lot of interruptions. But I believe Acrylic is a good option for me now, since it dries quickly. Most importantly cleaning the tiny hands of my daughter will be easier with acrylic, than oil color ;)  She tried her best to help for this work, I had no option other than speed up my work...

Glass Art by a Newborn Mother

"Congratulations, it's a baby girl as you wished for .." these words from my gynae made me feel something I've never felt before ... extreme happiness.... literally put me into tears of joy.

Listen to the heart beat for the first time, feel her kick, first look during the scan ... all these made me so much eager to see our baby ... last few months were really testing time for my impatient behavior :) . One fine morning earlier this month, all these things culminated in the birth of our  child.

I am a responsible mother now ;) enjoying every bit of motherhood. Even though there are sleepless nights with burning eyes ... it is one of the most amazing experiences of my life. We ROCK Ladies  !!

Coming back to the intent of this blog, Here is my last glass painting, of size 20 x 24 inches. I don't think I will be able to spend time on art work for next 5 months, so off to a much needed break now :) see you after some time.. take care..

Touch of Silver..

Hello,

Going through one of the beautiful phases of my life ... even though physically exhausted, overwhelmed with joy. Life is really wonderful !

My energy level is quite low these days and here is the proof :) .. tried Chrysanthemum on canvas of size 15 X 22 inches. I know this is not my best, as I found it incredibly difficult to paint these days.

I don't want to waste more canvases and colors now :) planning to take a break of at least few months from oil colors.

Purple Dahlia..

Hello Friends,

Here is my latest oil color work on 15 X 22 inches canvas. I think I am becoming lazy these days, so happily preferred a simpler work :) Also purple is one of the favorite colors of my mother, so thought of using that. Hope you like it!..
