Reflections in Water
Hi Friends,
Its been a while since I posted last time. I had a hectic schedule in last 45 days or so, where I had to finish few orders, paper boxes, clay flowers and one of them was the bigger version of a painting I had, the first image below. While working on that, I realized that I never uploaded them here and its time to do that :)
Its a simple composition showing trees reflected in the water, with rich colors hug the bank. I was going through some of the landscapes by Graham Gerken and got so much inspired that I immediately started working on that. Here I have used acrylics on Canvas Board of size 18 * 15 inches and both are neatly framed.

Have a gr8 day, bye.

On a mission to complete the pending orders,,,,
Hi Friends,
Here is my latest mural of size 2 ft * 2 ft, which I did for my neighbor. In fact, I did a similar work long time back, which was smaller in size.
Although I don't like to work on the same design more than once, I was forced to do so as she was interested only on this and out-rightly rejected many beautiful designs :)
This order was pending for a very long time as I was quite busy with my work, really appreciate her patience here.
The best part is, she is very happy with the outcome and seeing the happiness on her face itself paid me back for my hard work :)
Have a gr8 day, bye

Happy Valentine's Day

This is one of the acrylic works, finished in a hurry just before Chitra Santhe. I thought this suits best for Valentine's Day, so uploading here.
Don't forget to leave work early today so that your colleagues actually think you have Valentine's Day plans :) Happy Valentine's day !

Chira Santhe - The art (af)fair of Bengaluru
/hihi
This is the best occasion to interact with many artists and art lovers, and get to know about them. Its a great platform to learn so many things and get inspired by their work.
This year the art fest witnessed more crowd compared to last year. I think the number of photographers also have increased, thanks to smart phones :) Although I hate the crowd in general, but Chitra Santhe is the only event where I enjoy the crowd very much :)
I would like to thank all of you, who have visited my stall.
Have a gr8 day. /bye
Chitra Santhe is a one-day art festival organised by Chitrakala Parishat, where nearly 2000 artists from all over India come together to showcase their work on the side pavements of Kumara Krupa Road in Bangalore.
This time it was held on Jan 5th, and am lucky to get a stall this year as well. As the space allocated to the stall was smaller than last year and my friend had put few of his works in my stall, it was difficult to display all the paintings properly.

Happy New Year - 2014
/hihi,
Wishing you a fabulous 2014, with full of great achievements and experiences. May the year bring Happiness, Good Health and all the Success.
I have learnt a lot in 2013, be it managing tough time or learning many creative stuff. Last year gave me all the opportunities to mature as a person and am sure this year will be more fruitful.
Coming back to the intention of this blog .. to share my recent abstract paintings"Chasing the Light" with you all ... acrylic on canvas, each of size 12 * 24 inches. Considering the time I spent on these works I am happy with the output.
Have a gr8 day. /bye
